Lullaby is a photo work about a Jerusalem where imagination and impending catastrophe begin to overlap.
Within it, familiar space begins to change shape, and anxiety becomes part of the landscape before its cause becomes visible.

Lullaby was developed in 2025–2026 within The Jerusalem Syndrome, a workshop led by Yaakov Israel at Musrara, the Naggar Multidisciplinary School of Art and Society.

In a time of upheaval, I lost my home and almost immediately found it again in Jerusalem. My deep attachment to the city coexists, surprisingly, with the way it appears in my photographs: at times almost predatory, like a trap. This contradiction is difficult to explain. Lullaby emerged from the tension between my love for Jerusalem and the sense of anxiety lying beneath it.
